韓國學研究中心於2014年5月31日成立，旨在深化臺灣韓國學研究並推動國際學術交流。自1963年以東方語文學系創立以來，中國文化大學韓國語文學系在半個多世紀的發展歷程中，一直是奠定臺灣韓國學基礎的核心學系。該系率先在臺灣升格為韓國語文學系所，並首創設立碩士班，長期以來在韓國學發展上扮演著領航者的角色。本中心自 2024 年編制為東亞人文社會科學研究院所屬機構以來，透過與國內外學術機構的緊密合作，不斷拓展學術版圖。
韓國學研究中心每年6月主辦「西太平洋國際學術會議」，為國際學術對話開闢重要平台。自2011年由中國文化大學韓國語文學系首次舉辦以來，本會議已發展成為匯聚海外研究者及各國學術機構的權威性交流場域。此外，本中心每年定期出版學術期刊《臺灣韓國學研究》（The Review of Korean Studies），此期刊為韓國學領域的重要專業學術刊物；原名為《韓國學研究論文集》，後經重整與國際化改版後，為學術界提供了更堅實的研究平臺。
同時，韓國學研究中心亦致力於與世界一流研究機構建立合作關係。2025年8月，本中心與首爾大學國語國文學研究所簽署合作備忘錄（MOU），開啟更為活躍的學術交流；其後更與多個學術團體締結協議，為韓國學邁向新階段奠定重要基礎。
當今韓國學在全球學術版圖中已成為重要樞紐，並因「K-知識」的廣泛傳播而更受矚目。本中心將持續強化國際合作網絡，深化韓國學研究的專業性與學術深度。基於多年累積的傳統，我們將不斷努力，使當下的成果成為未來韓國學發展的堅實基石。

한국학연구센터는 대만 내 한국학 연구의 심화와 국제 학술 교류의 확대를 목표로 2014년 5월 31일 설립되었습니다. 중국문화대학교 한국어문학과는 1963년 동방어문학과로 출발한 이래 반세기가 넘는 시간 동안 대만 한국학의 기틀을 다져온 중심 학과로서, 대만에서 가장 먼저 독립 학과로 승격되고 대학원 석사과정을 최초로 개설하는 등 한국학 발전을 선도해 왔습니다. 그리고 본 센터는 2024년 동아시아인문사회과학연구원 산하기관으로 편제되면서 국내외 학술기관과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 학문적 외연을 지속적으로 확장하고 있습니다.
한국학연구센터는 매년 6월 개최하는 서태평양국제학술회의를 통해 국제적 학술 담론의 장을 마련하고 있습니다. 2011년 중국문화대학교 한국어문학과에서 처음 개최된 이래 해외 연구자들과 다양한 국제 학술기관이 참여하는 권위 있는 학술 교류의 장으로 자리매김하였습니다. 또한 연 1회 발간되는 학술지 『대만한국학연구』(The Review of Korean Studies)는 한국학 분야의 주요 전문 학술지로서, 기존 『한국학연구논문집』을 국제 학술지로 재정비한 후 더욱 발전된 모습으로 학계에 기여하고 있습니다.
아울러 한국학연구센터는 세계 유수의 연구기관과 협력 네트워크를 강화하고 있습니다. 2025년 8월 서울대학교 한국어문학연구소와의 MOU 체결을 통해 활발한 학문 교류를 이어가고 있으며, 이후 여러 학술 단체와의 협약을 통해 한국학의 새로운 도약을 위한 기반을 마련하고 있습니다.
오늘날 한국학은 K-학문의 확산과 함께 세계 학문 지형 속에서 중요한 중심축으로 자리하고 있습니다. 본 센터는 국제적 협력 체계를 더욱 공고히 하고, 한국학 연구의 전문성과 깊이를 한층 더 심화하기 위해 최선을 다하고자 합니다. 그간 축적해 온 전통을 바탕으로 현재의 노력이 미래 한국학 발전의 든든한 밑거름이 될 수 있도록 정진하겠습니다.

Greeting Message
The Center for Korean Studies was established on May 31, 2014, with the aim of advancing Korean Studies in Taiwan and promoting international academic exchange. Since its origins as the Department of Oriental Languages and Literature in 1963, the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Chinese Culture University has played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for Korean Studies in Taiwan for more than half a century. It was the first institution in Taiwan to be elevated to the department of Korean Language and Literature and to establish a master’s degree program in the field, thereby leading the development of Korean Studies. The Center was reorganized as an affiliate of the East Asia Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2024 and has since continued to broaden its academic horizons through close collaboration with domestic and international scholarly institutions.
The Center for Korean Studies hosts the annual Western Pacific International Conference each June, providing a platform for global academic conference. First held in 2011 by the Department of Korean Language and Literature, this conference has grown into a distinguished venue for scholarly fellowship, drawing participation from international researchers and academic organizations worldwide. In addition, the Center publishes The Review of Korean Studies once a year, a major peer-reviewed journal in the field. The journal was formerly issued as the Collection of Korean Studies Research Papers and has since been restructured and expanded into an international academic journal.
The Center is also committed to strengthening its partnerships with leading research institutions around the world. In August 2025, it signed an MOU with the Institute of Korean Language and Literature at Seoul National University, marking a significant milestone in fostering active academic cooperation. Since then, the Center has entered into agreements with various academic organizations, establishing a strong foundation for the next stage of growth in Korean Studies.
Nowadays, Korean Studies stands as a vital component of the global academic landscape, bolstered by the growing international prominence of K-academic knowledge. The Center will continue to enhance its international networks and deepen the academic rigor and expertise of Korean Studies research. Building on the traditions we have cultivated, we remain committed to ensuring that our current endeavors become a solid cornerstone for the future advancement of Korean Studies.
